Slow down, reflect, and set the tone for your next chapter.
this workshop brings together Heather’s background in psychology and lived experience of motherhood. The evening will start with a few simple mindfulness practices for easing stress and feeling grounded.
From there, we’ll move into guided journaling and vision board crafting to set intentions for the season ahead—snacks and cozy bookish vibes included.
tickets start at $30
-
you’re invited to bring a craft supply to share with the group. literally anything you would put on your own vision board
-
anything small and simple that would stick to cardstock (self-adhesive or using a glue stick):
paint pens
washi tape
magazine clippings
stickers
scrapbook paper
quotes you love
some aesthetic word art from an image search on printer paper
… no pressure to be fancy. if you need some extra inspiration, check out the sign-up genius or amazon list I’ve linked
-
Nope! The workshop is designed so you’ll have plenty to work with, even if you just bring yourself. The bonus community crafts are an optional way to add more fun and variety to the boards
-
Yes, 1000%.
First of all, I believe everyone is an artist… it’s kind of my thing.
Besides that, this event is about connection, play, and self-reflection. If you can cut and paste a magazine clipping, you’re good to go.
-
Yes. I’ll have a full spread of supplies. The potluck items are just bonus
-
that’s okay! Everything will go onto a community table where people can take what sparks their interest. You’ll also get to explore what others brought, so nothing goes to waste.
at the end of the night you can reclaim your unused supplies or I can take care of it for you ;)
-
About 2 hours. We’ll have a soft start at 6:30 and get settled with our snacks. Together we’ll start with a guided breathing exercise, then individually we’ll move into journaling and vision boarding. Everyone moves at their own pace, so as you finish your crafts we’ll share and reflect. Soft close around 8:30 with clean-up and “see ya laters”
-
Please buy tickets in advance so I know how many supplies and snacks to bring.
however, you can purchase same-day tickets (if they’re still available)
-
This one’s designed for adults to have their own creative reset.
As much as I love my kids (and probably your kids) it’s just not the vibe for this event. Let’s plan a playdate soon though, ok?
